The Highland High School Student Health and Wellness Committee is hosting the First Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Run. The Student Health Committee is using proceeds from the event towards implementing nutrition and fitness programs within the school district. Registrations before August 31st cost $20 for the 5K and $10 for the one mile Kids Run. Registrations after that cost $25 for 5K and $15 for the Kids Run. Registrations can be sent to Shawn Loy at, 1307 Timber Ridge Drive, Washington, with checks made out to the Highland Student Health and Wellness Committee. The First Annual Highland Huskie 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, September 18th beginning at 8am at Riverside Elementary.
