If you have ever had an interest in gardening or volunteering in your community, you have a chance to learn in January. The Iowa State University Extension is offering a Master Gardener Training Program for those interested. Nancy Adrian with the ISU Extension says this program, which was first started in 1979 has trained over 9000 people in various aspects of gardening. She says those attending the training will take 40 hours of instruction at the Extension Office and one class on the ISU Campus. Adrian says the classes run from January to March and last about three hours each. If you would like more information, contact the Washington County Extension.
