Washington And Keokuk Join Iowa County On Federal Disaster List

Beer Sales In Iowa Fall During Last 12 Months, Liquor And Wine Sales On The Rise

Iowa’s Alcoholic Beverages Division says sales of liquor and wine have jumped more than five percent in the last twelve months, while beer sales dropped two percent.

Ollie, Richmond and Rubio To Benefit From $2.5 Rural Development Grant

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development has awarded a $2.5 million dollar grant and $1.3 million dollar loan to create construction and waste water systems in Ollie, Richmond and Rubio.

Description: Hospice of Washington County is hosting the 11th Annual 5K Memorial Walk/Run on Saturday, September 18th, from 8:00am to noon at Sunset Park in Washington. Registration begins at 8:00am. The Walk/Run begins at 9:00am. They are honoring Hospice of Washington Counties past and present patients by asking family member to submit a favorite photo of their loved one, their name, special dates, and a personal message to be displayed along the Walk/Run path.
