The Washington Demons open their high school football camp yesterday. New Demon Head Coach Randy Shrader says there were around 62 kids out and they expect a few more when practice starts next week, he says some had vacations planned. Shrader says the main thing is he’s watching how the kids carry themselves on the field. He says the camp will be used to get to know styles and how things should run for players and it gives the coaches a chance to get used to working together. Monday will be the first day teams in Iowa can conduct official practices.
