The Demons put together an 80 yard touchdown drive midway through the second quarter to make it 14-7 at the half. Washington had some key stops in the second half and Jake Redlinger hooked up with Brock Kimball for a 90-yard touchdown pass but the missed pat made it 14-13 Clippers. The Clipper spread passing offense was able to score two more touchdowns. With 8:00 to go the Demons were trying to put together a drive and moving the ball down the field all the way to around the Clipper 25 but three straight sacks and a penalty created a 4th and 34 which the Demons wouldn’t convert. The Clippers wouldn’t give the ball back from their as they won 28-13. Demons fall to 2-3 and 0-3 in the district. Clear Creek Amana is now 3-2 and 2-1 in the district.
