The Demon football team is 2-0 and their head coach felt they saw improvement in two things he wanted to work on between their first and second game. After their win over Mid-Prairie, Demon Head Coach Randy Shrader said he felt his team need to improve on their tackling and effort. Shrader says from the sideline Friday it looked like they did a better job. In terms of effort, Shrader was mainly felt some of the kids weren’t going at full speed if the play that was called was going away from them, and he says with their offense everybody must go full speed to help in some of the deception aspects of their plays. Now the Demons will practice today, play a JV game at Keokuk tomorrow and play at number 10 Grinnell on Friday.
