The Washington Demon football team opens district play with a tough road test traveling to face 9th ranked Grinnell. Both teams come in 2-0. Grinnell beat Oskaloosa and Des Moines Roosevelt pretty good while the Demons won their games by seven and eight points. Demon Head Coach Randy Shrader says Grinnell is always strong under Head Coach Jim Dunne. Shrader says he and Dunne served as assistants in the 97 Shrine Bowl. As for the Demons they have a great opportunity facing a ranked team in the Tigers.
