The Kalona City Council meeting will be tonight at the Kalona City hall at 7:30 p.m. The Council will be holding a public forum at the beginning of the meeting for a presentation by Washington County Engineer David Patterson on the Proposed Trail Project. Also on the agenda will be a discussion on the Downtown Revitalization project, discussion of a franchise agreement for electric with Interstate Power and Light Company and discussion on an Iowa City Area Development Pledge Request for 2011-2012 in the amount of $5,000.
