The City of Keota Approved the Cancellation of agreement with Midiowa Inspection Services during their council meeting on Wednesday. The company had been doing the inspections for the city’s rental property. Council member Scott Flynn says they cancelled the contract for many reasons

Flynn says they had received several complaints from landlords in town in regards to the quality of inspections that were done, he says they were also looking to go in a different direction. Flynn says they are now in talks with Jim Dickinson, a Keota resident to become the new inspector, who they hope will be more responsive to the landlords.
