A man has been taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after suffering injuries during a rollover near Riverside. The Washington County Sheriffs Department report states that Rodney Erickson of Walker Iowa was traveling southbound on Highway 218 when he lost consciousness and crossed the median, rolling the truck and trailer loaded with hogs into the east ditch on the northbound side. Walker was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His condition is unknown at this time. The hogs remained in the trailer and were unharmed. KCII will report new information as it becomes official.
