Today Mid-Prairie residents will decide whether or not to extend the Physical Plant Equipment Levee, which covers expenditures over $600 from the general fund. The special election ballot also has a proposed change in the wording of the district’s Revenue Purpose statement.  Washington County Commissioner of Elections Bill Fredrick says three voting locations are open today from Noon to 8 pm.  West Chester precinct residents will vote in the West Chester Heritage Building, Wellman Precint residents vote in their City Hall and Kalona Precinct Voters will vote in the community center.  For more information, call the Washington County Auditor’s Office.
