An annual golf program developed for veterans with disabilities will be finishing up in Riverside today.
The National Veterans TEE Tournament started Monday and is being played at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. The program is for Veterans who are legally blind, amputees, those who use wheelchairs and suffer from other disabilities. It teaches primarily adaptive golf and bowling to participants. They also take part in other activities such as kayaking, horse shoes and bag toss. The National Veterans TEE Tournament will conclude with their closing ceremonies and awards banquet at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort this evening. Congressman Dave Loebsack is scheduled to attend the event.
