Hoodwinks Bar and Melody Lanes Bowling Alley in Washington has changed hands. New owner Mike Bender says the business was closed for a couple of months over the summer, and he purchased it because he “didn’t want to see it closed any longer.”  Bender says he and his father have bowled for many years, as well as many Washington residents, and it’s something the community needs.  The staff now consists of family members, but still retains the “cheeseburgers, pizzas … and good atmosphere” that the community has come to enjoy.  Hoodwinks Bar and Melody Lanes is located at 1601 E Washington St. in Washington.
