A West Point, Iowa man has been charged in connection with an assault that took place in Washington’s Sunset Park. The Washington County Safety Center reports 24 year old Phillip Grandinetti is charged with “assault causing bodily injury”, a serious misdemeanor. Grandinetti is also charged with disorderly conduct. On Saturday, August 21st, the Safety Center received a report of a male subject that was “down in the parking lot after being assaulted in the face” by another man, and the victim was then transported to Washington County Hospital.
