Two Kalona Residents have been recognized by the Iowa Farm Bureau as a top conservationists in 2010. Dorothy Tesdell and John Donelson of Kalona were honored recently by the Iowa Farm Bureau as being a regional leader in conservation practices and reducing field erosion and dedication to the environment. Tesdell and Donelson were two of only eight other regional award winners in the state.
