They were playing football in Columbus Junction on Saturday. The Wildcats were suppose to host Durant-Bennett on Friday but lightning postponed the game to Saturday. Columbus scored first on a Rafeal Cardenas touchdown pass to Edgar Rodriguez to put the Wildcats up 6-0. Columbus Head Coach Jeff Martin says things got away from them when down 7-6 the stopped Durant-Bennett but fumbled on the first play which resulted in a touchdown, and then on the next drive Durant got on interception and scored a touchdown after that turnover. Brady Milder scored a 1 yard touchdown in the 4th quarter but Durant wins it 36-12. Columbus will next travel to face Camanche on Friday.
