The fourteenth ranked Keota volleyball team is back on the court tonight in regional semifinal action. The Eagles are two matches away from the state tournament. Tonight they play Lisbon in Kalona with the first serve at 7-pm. Keota is coming off a thrilling win over ninth ranked IMS in five. Lisbon beat Calamus-Wheatland to get to this point. The winner of tonight’s match will play the winner of Holy Trinity and New London for the right to go to state. The Regional Final match will be played at Mount Pleasant on Tuesday.
Last night in 3A volleyball, Mount Vernon beat the team that knocked out the Demons, Clear Creek Amana. The Mustangs won in three. Also the last remaining Southeast Conference school was eliminated as Keokuk lost to Williamsburg in three.
