Iowans can still vote early for November’s midterm elections at their county auditor’s office. Washington County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Bill Fredrick says his office is open for in person absentee voting today from 9 to 5, and Monday during normal business hours from 8 to 4:30 pm. Fredrick says voter registration requires a current valid photo ID with proof of residence.  If your current residence isn’t shown on the ID, a document such as a bank statement, utility bill or paycheck can be used.  Information regarding the  November elections is available on Washington County’s website at co.washington.ia.us or by calling 653.7777.
