The cross country District/Regional meets will be held around the state today. Washington will be running at Knoxville. The Demons will be competing against the conference schools as well as Knoxville, Centerville, Chariton, Clark-Oceola, Grinnell, Oskaloosa, Pella, and Williamsburg.

The 2A schools will run at Columbus, while 1A schools will run at Wapello. These meets are the qualifying meets for state. IMS boys are the defending state champs and their top runner Bill Spencer was the individual champion last year. Lone Tree girls are another team to watch, they’ve been ranked throughout the season.
