The Fairfield Iowa Convention and Visitors Bureau is now accepting applications for the 2011 grant program. The goal of the Bureau’s grant fund is to assist qualified organizations in providing excellence in cultural, civic, and educational programs that attract visitors to the Fairfield area. Applications will be accepted through December 17, and the Bureau will announce grant recipients by December 31 for 2011 events and activities. Rustin Lippincott, Executive Director of the Fairfield Convention and Visitors Bureau says the 2010 CVB grant program assisted 29 different events.
