Mid Prairie High School will be offering two comedy plays this year. Mid Prairie Drama teacher Tamara McClintock says the first is on Saturday at 7:30pm and is a festival of short contemporary plays called: “It’s Not What You Think,” that are only 10-15 minutes long. The Second play is “Charlie’s Aunt,” a British comedy from the 1890’s, and will premiere on November 5th and 6th at 7:30pm. She says the reason they are doing two plays this year is because there are so many kids interested in doing plays that have other activities going on and the festival play allows kids who are very active to not have come to rehearsal as much as they would for the regular play.
