Police have been called to the Washington High School twice in the last week. The Washington County Public Safety Center reports police responded to the High School Thursday for a “student out of control” that had left the school on foot.  Police located and arrested 18 year old Rico Stringer on Main Street near the downtown area.  Stringer is charged with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts and will be charged with trespass if he returns to school property before the end of a three day suspension.  Police previously arrested and charged Stringer on September 28th with two counts of assault causing bodily injury.  This school year, five Washington School District students have been charged for crimes that took place on school property.  High School Principal Erik Buchholz says the district is debating whether or not to hire school police officer.
