There are multiple options for Washington trick-or-treaters this weekend. Today from approximately 4:30 to 6 pm, the Washington Chamber of Commerce is holding a “Halloween On The Square.” Chamber Director Tim Coffey says businesses will be giving away candy, and each child will receive a hot dog, bag of chips and soda. Trick-or-treaters can then head to the Washington YMCA’s haunted house from 6 to 8. The cost is $1 for members, $2 for the general public. Tomorrow) evening, Washington’s official Halloween is from 6 to 8 pm. A “Fall Harvest Party” for 6th through 12th graders will also take place at Hamakua Place at 7 pm with karaoke, food, contests and prizes. Admission is $3.
