Packwood Robbery results in one arrest.

The Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Packwood was robbed Today at approximately 10 am.

The Jefferson County Attorney’s office is reporting that a male subject was reported of having robbed the bank at knife point and fled. At approximately 12:20 20 year old Michael Koehlhoeffer of Fairfield was arrested and charged with Robbery in the First Degree and 2 counts of Assault on a Police Officer, Criminal Mischief, and interference with an official acts after he was seen running across a field with a knife and was found with an undisclosed amount of money. Koehlhoeffer could spend up to 11 years in prison as a result of those charges. Assisting with the investigation was the Jefferson county Sheriff’s office, Fairfield Police Department, Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office, Wapello County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, and the Iowa State Patrol Air Wing.
