Washington County Public Health Could Move To Hospital, $4,000 Survey Approved

The Washington County Board of Supervisors have approved a $4,000 survey to determine if space at the Washington County Hospital can support the needs of Washington County Public Health, despite providing 3,000 less square feet than thought required.

One Vehicle Crash Near Agency

A one vehicle crash near Agency sent a Fairfield woman to the hospital. In a report from the Iowa State Patrol, just before 8am yesterday, Janice Coleman was traveling west bound on Highway 34 over the posted speed limit and lost control after passing another vehicle.

Dale D. Bower

Funeral services for 93 year old Dale D. Bower of Oskaloosa, formerly of Washington, are Friday (10/22) morning at 10:30 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with burial in the Elm Grove Cemetery with full military honors.  Visitation is Thursday (10/21) at Noon at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 7:30.  A memorial has been established to the First Assemble of God Church.
