Washington JV football team went to Solon last night for their last game of the season. JV football teams end the second to the last week of the regular season because there is such a quick turnaround between the last regular season game and the first playoff game. Last night Solon won 27-14. It was 13-8 at halftime. For Washington Mitchell Hora had a nice night with an interception for a touchdown. He got in for the two point conversion. Hora also scored on a touchdown run with 2:00 left in the game. Defensively Spencer Woods had 10 tackles, Wyatt Shelangoski 7 tackles, Hora 7 tackles and Logan Moeller 7 tackles. The Demon varsity will close out their season Friday hosting Williamsburg.
