Two Washington County Bows and Bullets 4-H students are the best shooters in Iowa. More than 115 students competed September 18th at the Big Springs Range, west of Montezuma, to compete and qualify for national competitions. Washington resident Gabe Greiner won top honors in the junior air rifle competition, and also placed first for his division in the smallbore competition. Riverside’s Joseph VanZante won first place in junior recurve archery.
