The Washington Free Public Library Foundation is dedicating its new 1888 Steinway Model “A” Grand Piano with a free concert tonight with pianist and University of Iowa Professor of Music, René Lecuona. The Washington Public Library says Dr. René Lecuona received her doctorate of musical arts degree in piano performance from Eastman School of Music. She has performed throughout South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the United States, including Carnegie Hall.  She has been praised by critics in Germany, the UK, and the US for her chamber music interpretations and solo performances.  This concert is free and begins tomorrow (tonight) at 7 pm at the Washington Public Library.
