University Hospitals and Clinics is reporting that the victim in the 1 car accident Wednesday afternoon is in good condition. Brandi Nicole Holmes was in an accident around 4:49pm Wednesday afternoon in the 3000 block of Southbound Hwy 1. The Washington County Safety Center reports that she went into the west ditch and struck a utility pole. Holmes was transported by ambulance to Washington County Hospitals and Clinics where she was then transported by air care to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Citations are pending.
