Washington County 4-H Students Promoting Rural Roadway Safety

Washington County 4-H members are promoting safety on rural roadways. Washington County 4-H Youth Coordinator Kati Pfeiffer says a grant from the Iowa Center for Agriculture Safety and Health paid for the distribution of 34 Slow Moving Vehicle Emblems, 45 strips of reflective tape and two flashing lights to farmers throughout Washington County.  4-H members Ty Sexton, Shari Temple, Kyle Huber and Jacqueline Spenner also presented rural roadway safety tips to area farmers at a training held by Stutsmans.
