The Washington Demons had their football banquet last night. Head Coach Randy Shrader talked about the team’s plans for the off season and the importance that all of the underclassmen do what’s expected of them for the program to be successful. He said while the team finished 3-6, he felt they could have easily been six and three if things went slightly different. As part of the night players received their letters and teams awards were presented as voted on by the players. Offensive MVP went to quarterback Jake Redlinger, Defensive MVP went to Collin Steele, Most Improved went to Colby Counce, and the Demon Pride award, which isn’t so much about performance on the field but a person who is key to the program in various other aspects, that went to Sean Edwards.
