Last night, the city of Washington kicked off the holiday season in a big fashion with their 16th annual holiday celebration titled “Let It Sing, Let It Ring, Let It Glow.” Main Street Washington’s Amy Vetter said she was pleased with the turnout despite the cold weather. While there were not as many entries in parade as last year, the parade was still a big success. The night was capped off by Santa Claus’ entrance in the lighted parade. As part of “Let It Sing, Let It Ring, Let It Glow,” the square was lit by with lights at 5:30.
