Black Friday was a very good day for local merchants in Washington. Craig Jones, owner of Ace N More in Washington says business was very busy yesterday with constant shoppers throughout the day.  He says he also had extra staff on hand to help customers as they shopped.

Angie Staley, Manager at The Edge 2 on the square says it was slow when she first opened, but then shopping traffic increased and remained steady as customers came in to buy merchandise.  Staley says this is their first holiday shopping season and is hoping to have a successful first year.
