If you are experiencing symptoms of the flu, you might want to make sure that it is not something else. Some early symptoms for carbon monoxide poisoning are headache, nausea or vomiting, dizziness or disorientation, fatigue, muscle weakness and difficulty waking. The best way to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning is to purchase a carbon monoxide detector.
