City to Name Personnel to Washington Financial Accounts and Banking

Washington decided to consolidate banking and financial activities in one bank, and the proposal for banking services from the Washington State Bank has been approved by the Washington City Council. The Council is now authorizing individuals to open and close accounts, purchase and redeem investments in accordance with the City’s Investment Policy, and transfer funds between City accounts at the Washington State Bank. City Administrator David Plyman, City Clerk Illa Earnest, and City Accountant and Treasurer Joe Myers are to be authorized at the City Council meeting tomorrow at 6pm.
