This year’s mid-term election voter turnout in Washington County exceeded the last mid-term election in 2006 according to Washington County Auditor Bill Fredrick. As of today, this year’s turnout of registered voters is just over 58%, compared to 2006’s mid-term turnout of 52%. 8,844 of the 15,165 registered voters cast their ballot on Tuesday. Fredrick says those numbers could climb when they finish counting all absentee and provisional ballots. Stay tuned to the Washington Page during the Midday Magazine tomorrow at noon for an in-depth interview with Washington County Auditor Bill Fredrick.
