The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors met yesterday and one of their main points of discussion was the Hwy 63/34 corridor agreement. Supervisor Richard Reed says it is an agreement that area 15 has brought to them. Reed says they have had a lengthy discussion about whether to sign the agreement on the bypass that goes around Fairfield, Oskaloosa and Mt. Pleasant. He says they have not come to an agreement yet. Reed says they will be talking with the mayor of Lockridge more about it and discuss the issue at their next meeting next Monday. The Jefferson County Court house will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.
