The Washington Public Library is presenting a Sacred Symbols in Christian Art program. The lecture and slide presentation is given by Washington Art Historian Carol Ray. Director of the Washington Public Library Patrick Finney says Ray will go over everything from the Book of Kells, to stained glass work in cathedrals, Dutch painters and the symbolism of the art up through the renaissance period. The presentation is free and open to the public. The program is Saturday afternoon from 2 to 4:00 in the Nichola-Stoufer Room in the Washington Public Library.
