The WACO Warriors were hosting HLV in Wayland and it was a low scoring first half. The Warriors scored first with a Jordan Vradenburg eight yard touchdown run late in the first quarter, the pat was blocked. The next score would come late in the first half with HLV get a touchdown an a 34 yard pass and so it was HLV up 7-6 at the half. WACO would score early in the third and get the two point conversion to lead 14-7 and the Warriors would score 16 points in the fourth to win 30-15. On the night for WACO Spencer Shepherd had 24 carries for 105 yards, Justin Freyenberger had 8-carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and Jordan Vradenburg finished with 9-carries and 48 yards and a touchdown. Austin Coakley was in on 11 tackles, and Jordan Vradenburg, Spencer Shepherd, and Kendall Leichty were in on eight tackles. WACO is now 11-0 on the season and will travel to face Lisbon on Friday. Lisbon beat BGM-Brooklyn 28-0. Had BGM won, WACO would have hosted BGM, but since Lisbon won and they have only hosted on playoff game while WACO has hosted two, Lisbon will get to host Friday’s game.
