So who will the Warriors be playing? North Tama and Newman Catholic, Mason City were the late game in the UNI-Dome last night, they were scheduled to kick off at 8:45. In a battle of two unbeatens it was North Tama who beat Newman Catholic 35-20. It was a little revenge for North Tama because Newman Catholic knocked them out in the semifinals last year 28-26. Now WACO will have their chance at some revenge as they face North Tama out of Traer. North Tama beat WACO in the dome in the quarterfinals last season 39-0.

On the other side of the Class A bracket, Gehlen Catholic, Lemars beat West Hancock, Britt 25-6. Unbeaten Madrid beat one loss Bedford 58-38.

So coming up Friday, the WACO Warriros take on North Tama in the dome at 10:30, then the second game will be Madrid and Gehlen Catholic. You’ll be able to hear the WACO game on the one to count on KCII.
