The Washington School District held a second public forum last night regarding the 1918 building and converting it for use by 6th through 8th graders making it a middle school. The main topic of discussion was the cost of changing the building’s interior to make it more energy-efficient and remodeling of the classrooms. The school board will take the concerns regarding the 1918 building remodel addressed in last night’s meeting and create a date for a work session at tonight’s school board meeting.
