Washington County 4-H’ers participated in Ak-Sar-Ben livestock competitions September 23-26th in Omaha, Nebraska. Several of them won ribbons during the competition. Ryan Schneider received 2 Blue Ribbons in the Market Beef Live Division and 1 Red Ribbon for the Market Beef Carcass Division. Schneider also received two purple ribbons in the Swine Live division and 2 Blue Ribbons in the Swine Carcass division. In the Feeder Calves division Brad Lampe and Sarah Lenz each received a blue ribbon and Chelsey Lampe and Colton Schneider each received a red ribbon. In the Horse division Brooke Hammond received three blue ribbons.
