Local organizations will benefit from the 18th Annual Children’s Benefit Concert this weekend. Rustin Lippincott with the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center says the concert will feature area singers and Dancers performing a variety of Broadway hits and other musical numbers. He says people should come because it’s benefiting children at this time of year but also because of the quality of the performers. All proceeds will go to benefit S.I.E.D.A. Community Action, the Women’s Crisis Center of Ottumwa, and Airline Ambassadors, currently serving Haiti’s earthquake and hurricane victims. The concert is Tomorrow and Saturday night at 7:30pm, cost is $12 for general admission and $10 for students.
