The state Senate Republican leadership has announced Senator-Elect Sandy Greiner of Keota has been named as a ranking member of the Senate Economic Growth Committee when the 84th General Assembly convenes next month. Greiner mentions her goal when assuming this position is to look at creating an environment in the state in which businesses and manufacturers could do business better. She notes her party is in the minority and doesn’t know what to expect from the Democats since their committee appointments have not yet been made.
