The Washington Public Library is holding an event tonight for those interested in fiber arts and crafts. Fiber arts and crafts can be any project made with fabric. Washington Public Library Director Patrick Finney says Sticks and Strings is an intergenerational group that meets together to work on their projects at the same time. Finney says the group’s ages range from students in Junior High and High School though older adults. He says to come even if you are a beginner since the group can help share pointers and tips. Sticks and Strings will take place in the 2nd level reading lounge from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the Washington Public Library and if you need more information, contact Leann Kunz at 653-2726.
