A fire in Keota early Tuesday morning resulted in the house at 2565 Buckeye Ave being a total loss. The Washington County Extension is taking immediate steps to help the Warren and Sheila Temple family out. Fundraising Committee Chairman Carol Horning says within half a day they have put together a benefit soup and sandwich supper on December 30th. Horning says the whole family would do anything for anybody, and this is something the whole community can do for the family. She says right now the family is living with other family members. The fundraising committee will also be taking cash donations and gift cards to help the family out. The benefit is December 30th from 4 till 8pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds. For more information or to donate you can call the extension office at 653-4811
