Yesterday at the Washington County Board of Supervisors Meeting, they approved to allow IDOT to use county roads. Beginning in the spring of next year, IDOT will be replacing the bridge over Crooked Creek on Highway 92 west of Lexington Boulevard. During the bridge replacement, a detour will be in place on different county roads. IDOT will be maintaining the detour routes during the construction process. The Supervisors are requesting the work on Highway 92 not begin until the bridge work is completed on 250th Street early next year. Bids for the bridge replacement will take place in January.
