At least four buildings were on fire this morning in downtown Keota at the corner of East Broadway and North Ellis.  KCII received a report of a fire in downtown Keota approximately 5:30am.  When we arrived on the scene, crews from Keota, Sigourney, North Keokuk County, Richland, Keswick, Washington, and Wellman Fire Departments plus Keota First Responders, Keokuk County Sheriff, Keokuk County Ambulance Service and Keota Police Department were on hand to contain the blaze at All Around Fitness, Keota Laundromat, Hawkeye Midwestern Realty and an adjacent building.
