The Washington Demon girls basketball team heads to Durant tonight. The Demons are 3-1 and coming off a 59-51 win over Fairfield to open conference play. They were suppose to host Ottumwa Saturday but were postponed. Yesterday the schools agreed to make that game up on January 4th. The Demons face a Durant team that is 2-2. They lost to Fort Madison 36-25, beat Morning Star Academy 34-9, lost to Tipton by two 34-32 and beat West Liberty 35-29. The Demons play tonight and then go on the road Friday for a big conference matchup against Keokuk.
