In basketball tonight, Washington has a couple of big games with Keokuk. On the girls side, the Demons face a Chief team that heading into the season is the favorite to win the conference title. The Demons won the title last year and Head Coach Phil Long has been preaching to his girls it’s theirs until someone takes away from them. The girls will play in Keokuk. You’ll be able to hear tonight’s game right here on the one to count on KCII, we’ll be on the air with the Washington Hyvee Pre-game Show at around 7:20.

The boys will play here in Washington. The Demons started conference play with a strong win at Fairfield last week. They have been off since then. While Mount Pleasant entered the season as the overwhelming favorite having returned everyone from their state semifinal team from last season, Demon Head Coach Bryce Smeins says the Keokuk Chiefs are dangerous team with some key returners.
